Its taking a little bit to get back in the swing of things with only one child to school! I have also started college myself so this blog has taken the back burner just a bit! I hope to have some new printables soon!

Our School Week 2/7-2/11

This post has Tot School and Pre-K with Tot School at the top and followed by Pre-K.

(Dylan is 33 months)

He did a Monkey Tot Book this week. He loves monkeys so I knew it'd be the perfect theme for him. We will be finishing the Theme this week. Here is some of what he did this week.

He talked about what color the monkey liked. He had to get his monkey and moved it from each color to the new color the monkey liked.

He colored a Monkey Sheet.

We talked about what body parts a monkey has and he showed me if he had them too!

   

 

 He did our Shape Sorter this week. I called out a shape and he had to find it and put it on the right spot.

 

He did a coloring activity that he had to listen to directions in.

 He did a Valentines Bird Size Sort from our Valentine Tot Kit.

We also did a Conversation Hearts color sort from our Valentine Tot Kit.

 

And then the last day of the week we worked on making some Valentines.

 PRE-K

 RRSP

Austin worked on  Letter B, #18, Sight word: they, Squares, and Brown. We did the whole unit but I didn't get pictures of it all. You can find the RRSP Letter B HERE.

 

  This Color by number sight word came from 1+1+1=1 to go with the RRSP program. It can be found HERE

50 States Unit

We only got to the State of California this week as with Valentines Day approaching I want to focus on that a little more.

 

Police Unit

We talked about our Flashcards and He worked on some Whistle Patterning.

Valentines Day Activities

We did an observation of Conversation Hearts that we got from 2 Teaching Mommies

 

 

He also made Valentines to give to Daddy and his Speech Teacher.

Tot School/ Preschool 7/5 - 7/9

Austin is 46 months and Dylan is 26 months

This week we focused on Letter B , Spelling, and Color sorting and a few other things not pictured below.

The boys work on a Tissue Paper Butterfly using the color Blue. I got the butterflies from http://confessionsofahomeschooler.blogspot.com/2009/10/letter-b-for-butterfly.html

Dylan loves these Color Bears! He plays with them daily! This day we worked on counting! He can get to 3 so far!!!


Last week Austin surprised me and was telling me how to spell some words. So I decided to make up some printable pictures and use our letters from our Melissa and Doug toys for him to use to spell out the words! He knew every one of the ones I gave him! I will be getting these together in the next week or so to put on here for people to Download and Print!


We had a great week! This week we are going to start the Raising Rock Stars Preschool for Austin and Dylan will continue with Tot School! I cant wait!

Letter B- Bumblebee

Welcome to Letter B!
Click Images to print the worksheets (they should open bigger for easy printing)

First we made a Crafty ABC Letter B To make this click HERE

Letter B Collage: Print the Paper then cut out the Letter B Images and have your child glue them on the B.

Letter B Tracing and Coloring Paper: Print this then have your child trace the Letter B and color the bumblebee.

Bumblebee Lacing Card: Print the card then punch holes through the Bumblebee for Lacing fun.

Letter B Matching: Print the Paper then cut the Bumblebees in half in different ways to make puzzles. Then have your child match the Uppercase B to lowercase b.

Letter B Tracing Paper: We do a line a day but you can do what works best for you child.

Letter B Scavenger Hunt: Have your child search through the house for objects that start with B.

Letter B Magnet Page: You can use the magnets found here for this. We used pom poms instead for ours so thats another option. And then painted it afterward!

Letter B Playdough Mat: Print then laminate and let your child use playdough to create the letter B.

Letter B Puzzle: Print then cut on the lines for a Letter B puzzle

Uppercase and Lowercase Letter B Sort: Print both sheets below then cut the Bumblebees out and let your child sort them on the 1st paper.
Letter B Letter Search: Have your child search for all Uppercase and Lowercase B's. Then practice tracing them on the bottom part of the worksheet.
