Tot School: Letter Nn

(Dylan is 41 months)

This week we focused on the Letter Nn, Counting 1-5, Patterns, Sorting by size.

Here he was sorting the Letter Nn into capital and lowercase letters. COAH

We worked on some counting 1-5. I know he can do this now and we will be moving on to 1-10 shortly!

We worked on putting a puzzle together. This was his first time doing a big kid puzzle and he did really well with it!

We worked on AB patterns and he has this down to a pat and we will be adding AAB patterns in next week or so.

 A little more counting!

And then he got a little creative with his blog and the green blog was the Angry Bird pic and the little alien toy in the background is his bird and he was trying to knock down the tower! I loved how he used him imagination with this!

I am thinking that we are going to start transitioning out of Tot School and into more of a Preschool age activities as he seems to get bored with Tot School lately because he knows how to do everything so quickly. I am ready to start challenging him more.

He made a N is for Nest craft from Totally Tots.

He colored our Bible verse for the week. Coloring sheet came from RRSP curriculum.

He did his Getting ready for N tracing sheet.

And for the first time he cut out his own Vocabulary Words! This is a HUGE accomplishment for him as he normally lacks patience when it comes to this! I was a very proud mommy this week!

Here he is coloring his Firetruck Colors book.

He did a Do A Dot Page that had our sight word one on it.

He got to play with playdough and our new cookie cutters.

He did a Letter N Do a Dot page from Confession of a Homeschooler.

He used my Number Tracer Number 10 this week! He liked being able to count the dots.

We did a Letter sorting activity from Confessions of a Homeschooler.

He did his Letter Tracer from RRSP curriculum.

He did our Bible Verse Craft which came from our RRSP curriculum.

We worked on a size sort activity. I also asked him to show me the middle, beginning and end, and we also added in under and over the table! Activity came from Confessions of a Homeschooler.

He worked on patterns. This activity came from Confessions of a Homeschooler.

And he finished the week with a Letter N coloring page. He is getting better and better at coloring in the lines. He really enjoys coloring.

Tot School- Letter N

(Dylan is 28 months)

He made a Letter N for Nest this week.

He colored our Bible verse. He figured out that he could use the white on the black letters to prove me wrong when I told him it wouldn't work.

Played with our new cookie cutters in Play-dough.

He did a Letter N Do A Dot page.

We made our Bible Verse Craft. He even cut out the verse with my help and glued it by himself.

He colored our Letter N is for Nest coloring sheet.

If you cant tell he is very much into coloring. When I pull other activities out he points to the crayons. So this week I let him color as much as he wanted! This next week we are going back to other activities mixed in!
