Crock-pot Chicken Alfredo with Pasta

We had this crock-pot chicken alfredo the other night. It was delicious and my kids even gobbled it up (and they normally eat like birds).

It makes between 12 to 14 servings. I like to have leftovers for the following day.

Ingredients:

  • 2 jars Alfredo sauce (my favorite is Classico brand)
  • cup whole milk
  • tablespoon butter
  • bulb of garlic , shelled and peeled
  • 3 -4 lbs frozen chicken breast tenders
  • cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • cup Italian cheese blend (with Parmesan)
  • 1 lb Rotini

  • How to Make:

    • Pour both jars of Alfredo sauce into the crock-pot.
    • Add milk to the jars and shake well then pour into the crock-pot.
    • Drop in garlic cloves and butter. Do not stir.
    • Place frozen chicken on top of the Alfredo sauce.
    • Cook on low for six hours.

This is what it looks like after its cooked about an hour.
    • After six hours mix in cheese and shred chicken. Cook for one more hour.
    • Cook Rotini.
    • Mix cooked Rotini into the crockpot.
I forgot to take a pic right after this step but this is what it looks like after its sat for a bit. oops.

    Serve and Enjoy!

    1. Hi! Looks yummy! Is it rotini or rigatoni noodles?

    2. It's rotini, but I think any noodle that you like would work.

    4. I have this in the crockpot right now! My 16 month old doesn't allow for breaded and fried chicken strips anymore. Hoping to make this our easy mom alfredo!

    5. How long would you say to cook it if you used thawed chicken breast?
