( Austin is 49 months)
Our key points this week were: Letter: Mm, Number: 14, Shape: Heart, Sight Word: my, Color: Red.
We had a pretty slow week as we are getting used to our new school room which I will be posting about next week! But here is what we did this week.
We started the week by making our Letter M crafts ( Totally Tots)
He did our Bible Verse Crafts about sharing toys. (RRSP)
He did his Getting ready for Letter M tracing sheet (RRSP)
We talked about our vocabulary words. (RRSP)
He did a letter sorting activity.
He traced his Letter M (RRSP)
We did a color sorting activity with candy.
We also worked on Patterns with the candy before they got to snack on them.

ReplyDeleteYou are on the ball!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the activities and reinforcement-- Great ideas!
Hi! Great work! For the color sorting activity with m&m's, I was wondering where you got the color cards and the container that the boys sorted into? Thanks so much, Caterina
ReplyDeleteCaterina- the containers for the sorting I think I got at Target but it was several years ago. Id think any bowls would do though. The cards are from Homeschool Creations color matching cards

Also if you didn't want to print or use bowls just use a sheet of construction paper and right the name of the color on it and have them sort to the color mats instead itd work perfectly as well
Thanks so much for getting back to me and for the idea of construction paper.
