We had a great week! I slacked a day or 2 so we didn't really do a full week but we did manage to get most of the activities for the week done! Most of my ideas for school came from my Christmas Tot Kit or Carisa from 1+1+1=1 Christmas Learning Fun plans.
We started the week by hanging up our Ornament ABC's ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
We then went to our new felt board which i printed a Nativity scene and I told them the Nativity Story. I will have to snap pics next week when we do it again! You can get the Nativity Characters here then just glue them to felt or sandpaper to use on a felt board... Making Friends Nativity Scene
Austin worked on our ABC's of Christmas book. ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
He colored his Number worksheet for the Number 1 ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
Dylan worked on his shape sorting. He is really enjoying these type of activities lately. This can be found in my Christmas Tot Kit.
We did Marble Painting as a special activity on the first day. The boys did Christmas trees and Candy Canes. We will be doing this more often as they really enjoyed it!
Dylan colored a Christmas tree.
Austin colored his Christmas tree where he had to do certain colors for certain shapes. ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
We made our Christmas Tree Cones from our Countdown to Christmas.
Austin worked on his letter sounds with this worksheet. You can find this in the 1+1+1=1 Nativity Pack
Austin worked more on our ABC's of Christmas book. ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
He colored his number 2 worksheet ( well i helped some to encourage him to finish it) ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
He colored his snowman with the certain colors for shapes. ( you can find it in 1+1+1=1 lesson plan.)
Dylan did our Christmas Light Color Sorting from my Christmas Tot Kit. He did this about 5 times that day.
Dylan did his first size sorting activity and will have many more to follow! I wasn't sure if he'd understand but he blew me away! I explained the first two pieces and he did the rest on each himself. You can find this activity in the 1+1+1=1 Nativity Pack.
Looks like so much fun!
